When I started working on Mulmora, I was not thinking about trends or categories. I was thinking about something much simpler. I just wanted to feel comfortable in what I wear.
Living in places where the sun is strong and the air is always moving, I started noticing how much clothing affects your day. Some fabrics feel heavy after a few hours. Some outfits look beautiful but feel restrictive. And sometimes you wear something that you cannot wait to change out of. That never made sense to me.
I kept coming back to one thought. Why can clothes not just feel easy?
That is where everything began.
The silhouettes at Mulmora are intentionally flowy, but not in an exaggerated way. They are designed to move naturally, to create space between your body and the fabric, to let air pass through. When the wind moves, the garment moves with it. When the day gets warmer, the fabric does not feel heavy. It just stays light.
The prints are a reflection of the same feeling. I have always been drawn to paisley because it feels soft and fluid. There is nothing rigid about it. It does not interrupt the garment, it blends into it. When placed on breathable cotton, it feels complete without trying too hard.
The cuts are kept simple on purpose. If something needs constant adjusting, it is not right. These are pieces you should be able to wear without thinking. You put them on and continue with your day. No effort, no second guessing.
In a place like the UAE, clothing needs to work with the environment. You need something that allows your skin to breathe, that does not trap heat, that feels light even after hours of wear. That is why fabric is always the starting point for me. If the fabric does not feel right, nothing else matters.
Mulmora is not about dressing up for a moment. It is about feeling right throughout the day. Whether you are stepping out, sitting in a quiet space, or just going through your routine, the clothing should not demand anything from you.
It should just feel easy.
And that is all I am trying to create. 🌿
